Born from a bond. Driven by Purpose

A moment, a mission, a method. Welcome to Double Eleven

ABOUT Double Evleven

Double Eleven Horsemanship was built on a bond — between two horsemen, and between horse and rider. Founded by Chad Menard and Sydney Fedesna, Double Eleven is more than a training program — it’s a commitment to honest horsemanship, clear communication, and lasting results. We focus on building trust first, tailoring each experience to the horse’s needs and the rider’s goals. From colt starting to behavior correction and advanced refinement, our goal is simple: create confident horses and connected riders through purpose-driven training.

OUR CLIENTS

OUR SERVICES

Our Services

  • 11.11 Foundation (Colt Starting)

Our colt starting program is designed to give young horses a solid, respectful foundation. Over a minimum of 90 days, we guide colts through essential groundwork, their first saddling and rides, and confidence-building exercises like trail exposure and obstacles. They’ll learn softness, responsiveness, and how to look to their rider for leadership — all in a program built around patience, clarity, and trust. This is where true horsemanship begins.

  • 11.11 Path to Respect

This program is for horses showing dangerous or disrespectful behaviors like bucking, bolting, biting, rearing, or refusal to load. We don’t mask symptoms — we address the root cause. Through clear groundwork, consistent boundaries, and safe under-saddle correction, we help your horse rebuild trust, improve response, and gain confidence. Each horse receives a tailored plan and hands-on time 5–6 days a week, with progress based on their individual mindset and needs.

  • Obstacle & Desensitizing Training

This confidence-focused session helps horses become calm, thinking partners in uncertain environments. We use controlled exposure to obstacles like tarps, flags, bridges, slickers, and more—on the ground and under saddle—to teach your horse to slow down, think, and trust your leadership. Perfect for spooky horses, green minds, or trail prep, each session is designed to build curiosity and emotional regulation—not just tolerance.

  • Advance Technique Training

This program is for horses ready to go beyond the basics. We focus on refinement—softness, body control, collection, lead changes, rollback, transitions, and ranch riding maneuvers. Whether you’re preparing for competition or just want your horse to respond with precision and feel, this training sharpens communication between horse and rider. Designed for horses with a solid foundation, and includes rider coaching for continued success at home.

  • 11.11 Foundations of Trust

Great partnerships start on the ground. This one-on-one coaching helps you develop leadership, timing, and trust through clear, intentional groundwork. You’ll learn how to read your horse’s body language, set respectful boundaries, and communicate with purpose—building a stronger connection that carries into the saddle. Ideal for new owners, youth, or anyone looking to deepen their relationship with their horse.

  • Ride with Purpose (Lessons)

Private, one-on-one lessons for riders of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to fine-tune your skills, we offer both Western and English instruction with an emphasis on horsemanship, balance, and communication. Lessons are tailored to your goals and can be held at our facility (haul-in) or yours (travel available). Confidence and connection are at the core of every session.

  • The 11.11 Refresh (Tune Ups and Refresher)

This short-term program is perfect for horses needing a reset or polish. Whether they’ve had time off, are preparing for sale or show, or just aren’t responding like they used to—this training helps re-establish softness, respect, and confidence. We work 5–6 days a week to rebuild responsiveness and fill in the gaps, ensuring your horse leaves focused and tuned in.

  • Clinics

We bring 11.11 Horsemanship to your facility for an immersive, hands-on learning experience. Clinics are custom-built for your group’s needs—whether it’s groundwork, riding, obstacles, or confidence-building. With a mix of group instruction and individual coaching, these events are designed to strengthen horse-rider relationships, improve skills, and build a supportive community.
